SICK The sensor generates high-frequency electromagnetic exchange field by the coil of LC oscillation circuit, signal recognizer and switching oscillation circuit, and transmits it to the induction surface of the sensor. When a metal object (exchange flip-flop) approaches the induction surface, eddy currents are generated, resulting in loss of energy from the oscillating circuit and reduced oscillation. The signal recognizer behind the LC oscillating circuit converts the information into a clear signal. High exchange frequency and persistent current are the inductance characteristics of Schick sensors. These products can be used for DC two-wire conductors, DC three-wire conductors, DC four-wire conductors, AC/DC two-wire conductors, AC two-wire conductors and NAMUR sensors based on EN 50227.

Sick Sensor (magnetic)
Because the magnetic field can penetrate many nonmetallic materials, the exchange process can be triggered without direct contact with the target object. By using a magnetic conductor (such as iron), the magnetic field can be transmitted to a greater distance, and the signal can be transmitted from the region of high temperature. Magnetic sensors have a wide range of applications.
