Sick linear servo feedback encoder
Absolute and non-contact length measuring system for linear motor
The linear servo feedback encoder with HIPERFACE ® interface is a combination of incremental and absolute value encoders, and has the advantages of both types of encoders. By using highly linear sinusoidal and cosine signals and interpolating the drive controller, the required high resolution for speed control can be achieved. An integrated reader with an electronic measuring element generates sinusoidal and cosine signals which are transmitted to the measuring channel in a non-contact manner.
